because we sure as hell don't live in a socialist country! and last I looked...most socialist countries are doing quite moderate in this recession (i.e, Laos, South Africa--comparatively speaking, etc). the point was, even tiny ass Laos is doing better by growth rate than the USA is. as usual, conservitards miss the point.

Laos, South Africa. Bu wahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha comparing third world to USA, massive fail there bucky.

Your comparision is flawed. This economy is not the fault of the capitalist but the socialist. The stockmarket dive...0bama Bailout and debt.......0bama No JOBS.................0bama I do not know where you are getting your information but you need a new source.
3 :
No, because capitalists are not responsible for the economy. Our economy goes in cycles. It is in the recession cycle right now and it will bounce back. It would have bounced back without Obama and his crew intervening. That's just how the system we have works.
4 :
lol, I would much rather take my chances in America than Laos or South Africa. Our GDP is much higher, our standard of living is much higher. Even in a recession the United States economy is stronger than almost every economy in the world, with a few obvious exceptions.
5 :
The US economy is a mixed economy at best. A good argument can be made that current recessionary factors are the socialist elements injected in recent decades. Where as Islamic terrorists have told us who they are and why there doing what there doing... intentionally.
6 :
not all of Islam is terrorist but all of the terrorist that hate us are Islam, sorry if i offend anyone, and the Economy is effected by the government, not capitalist, capitalist believe that the government should be small not large
7 :
Yes, we should and I do. Don't forget the European countries and Japan. Sweden, France, Germany, and Japan are all doing much better than we are and are less Capitalist.
8 :
If you choose to place blame on capitalism instead of on stupid people who spent more than they could afford and then couldn't pay the bills when they came in, go ahead. Hope you feel better.
9 :
sure why not...we have the highest standard of living in the entire history of the world...even in this economy... and you cite Laos....????...really...???...yeah their airports are full of people trying emigrate there..

No. Lets blame all the people who got mortgages who were never suppose too. Lets blame the people who put into affect the laws that allow people to get mortgages who were not suppose too. Lets start there.

If a U.S. citizen dislikes capitalism and thinks other countries are doing so well, they are free to denounce their U.S. citizenship and become a citizen of any country that is willing to accept them. America is a free country. If one is not happy, they have free will and can choose to make a better life elsewhere, if they so choose. If I were unhappy with capitalism, I would move. It's kind of a no brainer. I like capitalism, however, it is the reason why the U.S. is still the leader of the free world and the reason why immigrants risk their lives to come to U.S. shores.

Truth is, they are blindly hypocritical...capitalism controls the world these days, and the socialists fighting against it are the only ones who will succeed in the end. capitalism can't be done on a global scale. where are we going to get our cheap products if there are no places left to buy them from?

Economically, you can not lose what you do not have. As far as blaming Islamic extremists for terrorism...pray tell who else do we have to blame? Every major terror incident involving the U.S. has been perpetrated by an Islamic militant. Or do you mean that you think that people blame Islam itself? If so, I don't think most of us do. I know a few Muslims and they are not terrorists, nor do they support terrorists.
14 :
No, we may not have a socialist economy but we sure don't ave a totally capitalist one either. I blame a government that heavily regulated the financial sector and started this whole ball rolling..
15 :
The Libs and their terrorist allies like Chavez and Castro already are blaming capitalists. And BTW, are any terrorists blowing themselves up in the name of any other religion besides islam? If so, I missed it on the news. That's not to say that all muslims should be blamed for terrorism. It's just the rotten 100 million or so that ruin it for everybody else.
16 :
"Blame" Islam? No, that's their own doing. If Muslims don't want us to "blame" them, they should stop killing in the name of their religion. By the way, from the looks of your profile picture, you look like a damn terrorist yourself.
17 :
They are doing "quite moderate" in this recession? What the hell does "quite moderate" mean? Rent a U-Haul and pack your shit and move to Laos.
18 :
Nope - no we shouldn't. I'm sure you wouldn't enjoy living in Laos or South Africa either, otherwise you'd already move there.
19 :
of course. big bankers brought us the derivatives and credit default swaps which made them richer and a lot of us honest people unemployed.
20 :
You are living in fantasyland. You cannot honestly believe that the economy of Laos and Latin American Countries is better than the Economy in The United States of America.
21 :
Not on capitalism itself, but rather the insufficient and poor regulation of it.
22 :
Technically, the US does not have a true capitalist economy................ the government has interfered too much and it cannot function as true capitalism.
