im doin a familytree.i ask my parent and grandparent from both side.my grandpa told me alot,hes lik 92 yrs old, an ex soldier in the vietnam war..he show me da picz when he was younger..my dad would tell half of his past since my grandpa would get depress of it..becuz of da tragedy.he had exwife& a child who live in laos.back in my ancestry..i had a japanese ggggggreat great grandma..i didn't know that.no wonder why i see samurai sword display in my grandpa shrine..that sword was past down to him by his master..my dad practice more of muay thai than what my gp do.that makes me the 7th granddaughter..it amazin to know about ur family root.i didnt know i had a japblood in me.i mean i have big eye with tan skin..i would never thought it be so.i'm thai/laos,filipino i look very much southeast asian-american girl.most of my family are mix asian race or french..its good be unique that makes u standout.my grandma from my dad side look paleskin with 2 eyelid.some ppl mistaken me as other race.

If you ancestors have been in America for awhile you should have some mix up in you...me, i am cherokee (like who isn't) both greatgrans on both sides were; white (scottish, german, english) I have some Philippine in there, my son's sperm donor is half lumbie indian. And sadly there are some african american in there too...from slavery days :( hey sh* happened can't change it!

Well, I'm Spanish-European on my dad's side and Moroccan on my mother's side, but that's about it. I'm your typical white/black mixed kid, except with Mediterranean overtones.

Yeah. Black, Irish and Choctaw...thats just my moms side though. My dad is black and he has white in his family but I don't know anything about his ancestory.

well seeing that I'm American then yes many different European backgrounds..isn't fun doing a family tree??..We did ours all the way back to Scotland wasn't hard seeing that my Grandmother was Scottish
