i remember reading some where about jelly fish, and i don't know how expensive they are, but it is their tanks that are real wallet busters! they are so fragile that they requre special round tanks that create a constant vortex so they are suspended in the center of the tank. in a normal tank, thay would be pushed into the corners and damage their soft body tissues. these special tanks, which look something like a washing machine, cost thousands of dollars, and can only be used for jellyfish. unless you have a few thousand extra dollars laying around, i would strongly suggest you think about getting a different type of animal. if you are still interested in jellyfish, a few good sites are as follows: http://www.masla.com/invert/jellyfishpets.html for general info, http://midwatersystems.com/ for photos of their required tank.

Don't get one. They are a pain to raise, and they never live for very long. They also only eat live food, and they can sting you if you reach into the tank.
