Well i just saw one for the first time here in minnesota, my mom told me that people in laos (i come from laos and never saw it there) would start running around yelling "THE FROG IS BACK, ITS EATING THE MOON!!!!" and theyd bring out ak-47s, m16s, tt34 pistols and shoot the moon hoping to kill or scare the "frog". They would bring out the drums and make loud noises to scare it away. Funny huh as the shaddow from the earth acends on the moon they think the frog is eating it and they go crazy but after its over they all go "ahh feel better" "everybody go home now". Cracks me up lol. I guess its a phenomenom that they believe since they live in rural areas. i was curious if any other people or whatever does random things when a lunar eclipse happens. like shooting the sky with aks. lol tell me what anybody does

That's funny and dangerous! I told my dad about it today and said the "dragon would devour the moon, and the moon would be washed in blood" like they thought in medieval times. Hadn't heard about Laos though. That's something great to share with my friends, thanks!
