What Thai embassies issue tourist visas for people making visa runs

What Thai embassies issue tourist visas for people making visa runs?
Hi. I live in Bangkok as a tourist. I make 3 visa-exempt visa runs and then get a visa at Vientane, Laos for a 60 day tourist visa and then another 60 day tourist visa to get around the 6 month rule. But I want to move outside of Bangkok to get away from the city pollution and also to see other places. I'm interested in Phuket and other areas. But is there a Royal Thai embassy besides the one in Laos where I can conveniently cross the border and get a tourist visa? What about Malaysia and Myanmar? What about Cambodia? I haven't been in Thailand long enough to be familiar with it. I don't want to have to go back to my home country to apply for a tourist visa, so I'm asking. On a related note, is there one place in Thailand where it's possible to make visa runs (both visa-exempt stamps and tourist visas) on your own without a visa run service? Like takin the train to the border/embassy?

You can do the tourist visas in just about all countries surrounding Thailand. Your issue may very well be that once an embassy in the SEA region sees what you are doing - hopping around different emabassies getting 60 day tourist visas...they well may stamp your passport up saying you will not be issued with a visa from a specific embassy or consulate, ie they may give you one are two visa's and tell you not to come back... Certainly dont bother with the Thai embassy in Singapore as they will stamp you once or twice and definitely tell you not to come back... Check on Thaivisa.com, there are always write ups on which embassies/consulates are pretty easy to get multiple visa's...if memory serves Vientane is the flavour of the month at the moment. You dont need a visa run service to do any of this, but it makes it easier..as which ever land border you go through, the company knows the routine.

why have the hassle? I use a one year visa and forego the pain of visa runs
