What is actually the real nature of human ? I'm a born European and can't accept monogamy from my heart, love is something universal to eventually share with more then just one. My both girlfriends (in Laos and Philippines) won't appreciated it very much when I tell them, or when I even suggest to go live together. In many cultures it's just normal when he has more then one wife, mostly not even a topic to talk about, then why for many girls in other cultures it's really unthinkable ? Is monogamy (like that other strange thing called 'marriage') invented by people ?

It was invented by churches and religions. Also, it is about men controlling women... owning women... left over from the past. It is more about power and control than anything else.
