Me and my sister (i am 23 and she is 20) are visiting Laos this winter, we use to live there when we were younger. However i keep hearing rumors that Thailand has upped the age limit of drinking to 25? i was wondering if the same is happening in Laos? It's not really a big deal if we can't drink, but does anyone know the age limit for alcohol in Laos now?

I have just been to Laos - I believe that you will not have any problems getting a drink in most places. The issue of drinking age never came up.
