There're no direct flights from Beijing to Vientiane currently, you can call the phone number of 010-51889433 to ask the information about Beijing-Kunming direct flights,and then dial the direct dialing number 400 transfer to the number 4006-880099to switch 1171, to ask the information of Kunming-Vientiane direct flights. hope you will have a happy journey!

I believe you have to get to Yunnan province first. I'm not sure how you get the visa and stuff, check with the Laotian and Vietnamese embassy. I'm sorry I don't know any good travel agent in Beijing. I did a small research for you. One possible way to go to Laos is to go to Nanning and then take a flight to Laos. Or you could take a train if you really want stops in Vietnam. Do you read Chinese? If you do, go to this website b/c you can find all the train schedules there. http://www.huochepiao.com/ Good luck!
