Im korean oneday I was playing gears of war with americans on xboxlive I told them that Im korean live in south korea then some guys seemed to be serprised that such a poor man like korean Is playing game on xbox360 then someone asked me seriously if I live in a house made of bamboo I thought they confused korea with suri lanka or laos cambodia etc Do americans think south korea as an undeveloped nation?

Korean economy is as good as US about. I've got friends who live in Korea who prove that S. Korea isn't an undeveloped nation. It's like a stereotype as someone already said, stupid people think all Asians live in bamboo houses and have rice paddies in their backyards or some other crap like that...

Americans, in general, are unintelligent and uneducated. Look who we elect as our leader, for example. I lived in South Korea for a number of years and I loved it. Alot of my fellow americans griped and complained and never left the gates of the compound, so they never really found out what it was like. An yong ha say yo.
