Out of Laos, Vietnam, Burma, Cambodia, Thailand, and Malaysia (or any that I missed that are in Southeast Asia) which do you think is the best to live in/visit? And why?

Singapore :p although people there take things way to seriously and its too strict But Malaysia ofcourse..atmosphere is relaxed and at the same time sooo lively! food is great, place is cheap, people are nice. 10/10

Personally, Singapore for it's safety. A real city to live and work. But isn't really a city to enjoy life. http://www.activesingapore.com/ http://www.abcsingapore.com/ Malaysia is another good choice. Just that the country needs to improve on the security, you can often read news on robbery happenings in Malaysia. Apart from Kuala Lumpur, I would say Sabah and Labuan is a good place to enjoy life. http://all.talkmalaysia.com/ http://www.abcsabah.com/ http://www.labuan.net/ I have stayed in Philippines and Vietnam as well. Would not recommend Philippines for the obvious reason - safety. I bet you can easily read a lot of news about it. While Vietnam is a third world country, you might find a lot of things are missing in this country especially if you come from a developed country. But Vietnam is a very safe country in the region, I would say second to Singapore.

The Philippines, nice beaches and people, the food are delicious and it is really affordable, just avoid Mindanao, visit the places like Cebu, Bohol, Palawan, Boracay, really amazing!
